Please note: January 2007 Puerto Rico will become the only Caribbean Island that Americans can visit without a passport. The new 'Homeland Security' laws go into effect requiring all US citizens to have a passport to travel to the Caribbean. Puerto Rico will not be included in this restriction and travel between the US mainland and Puerto Rico will continue, without a passport.
